Toray Advanced Film is the company at the core of the Toray Group's film business.

Background

In 2004, Toray Advanced Film was established through merger of three Toray Group companies specializing in each film materials.

In 2004, Toyo Metallizing Co.,Ltd.,which has processing technology including functional coating and deposition; Toray Plastic Films Co.,Ltd.,which has non-oriented polyolefin (PP, PE) film; and Toray's packaging film business are integrated to Toray Advanced Film Co.,Ltd. to meet the sophisticated, diverse needs in the market and to create new value for our customers.
We provide advanced film materials to the global market with our integrated sales and technical development organization which enables us to supply a complete product lineups including base and processed films.

We produce and offer innovative film materials and processed films utilizing our wide variety of innovative technology.

Toray Advanced Film's technologies add a rich selection of functions and value, including electrical conductivity, weather resistance, flame resistance, processability, adhesiveness, glossiness, reflection, anti-reflection, and printability, onto super-thin film materials less than 0.1 mm.We are involved in everything from the miniaturization and integration of electronic devices in the rapidly evolving field of electronics, to ensuring the quality and safety of food supplies, creating reliable medical environments and protecting the natural environment. As the core of Toray Group's film business, we stay ahead of the curve and contribute to the future of people, society and the natural environment through creating innovative film materials.
