At Toray Advanced Film, we have established the technological expertise and development system to keep pace with the needs of the times by allocating 12% of our human resources and 4% of our net sales to R&D (actual figures for fiscal 2018).

Toray Advanced Film pursues technical development by leveraging our dual technologies for film formation and processing, as well as for dry and wet processing. Over the years, we have created diverse functions for film products by accumulating and advancing our expertise on the versatile combination and integration of these elemental technologies.
Furthermore, we are able to meet broad customer needs with the Toray Group's basic research, engineering technology and production technology development.
